Welcome to the blog for Studio 2206! Studio 2206 has been the name of my studio for quite some time now (a future post might reveal why it is called that, stay tuned) and now I am excited to announce that it will be moving in a new direction! For the past few years Studio 2206 has been dedicated to my work as a photographer and designer, now it will also include my work as an educator. Thanks to BYU, I have an opportunity to partner with an elementary class and teach art lessons that integrate with what they are learning in their classrooms each week.
Each week I get to spend time with a first grade classroom in Eagle Mountain, located southeast of Salt Lake City, Utah. Ms. Fenn, their teacher, and I will be working together to teach the students including art with their other subjects in school. To start, we are learning about animals!
